Vega IM-A650S, A New Android 2.1 Smartphone From Pantech Is Announced By Sky

Launched in Korea in order to counter attack the iPhone 4 over there, the Vega IM-A650S made by Pantech and sold via Sky, comes with Android 2.1 (2.2 upgrade possible when available), a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU, , the Usual Google Gizmos, a 3D UI, Pre-load T-Cash payment system and a nice 3.7″ multitouch AMOLED screen. Finally Sky and Pantech claims that this Vega IM-A650S is also 23g lighter than the iPhone with a total weight of 114g.

South Korean company Pantech announced its new smartphone based on Android OS named SKY Vega (model index – IM-A650S).
Pantech SKY Vega runs Android 2.1 and is equipped with 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 3.7-inch AMOLED display and a 3D user menu.
The phone will be available in four color versions and will go on sale this month via loacal Korean operator SKT.
