Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W510 And DSC-W530 Digital Compact Cameras
Sony has two entry-level digital compact camera, 12.1 megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-W510 and 14.1 megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-W530. They get a Super HAD CCD and Sony lens with 4x optical zoom and 26mm wide angle equivalent and 2.7 inch LCD screen. If the entry-level model, they do not have HD video recording, but 640 x 480p VGA video recording at 30 fps.
W510 and W530 features Face Detection, Steady Shot image stabilization, smile shutter, anti-blink mode, up to 3200 ISO, Intelligent Scene Recognition [iSCN] Mode, the Intelligent Auto Mode, Soft Skin mode and Panorama mode Sweep. They also include Dynamic Range Optimizer [DRO] Standard and Plus uses sophisticated algorithms to help recover shadows and highlights, resulting in more natural images with clear details that more closely match what your naked eye.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W510 comes in silver, pink, red and black, while the W530 will be available in black, blue, silver, pink, and green. They will be released in March for $ 109 and $ 129 respectively. [via gizmodose]
