Chatsworth, CA, 05.08.2010 – SANYO North America Corporation (SANYO), introduced a new waterproof HD (1920 x 1080) dual camera Xacti, VPC-CA102YL model for an active lifestyle. The new dual camera can be used to record over 480 minutes of full HD 1080 video card and a 64GB SDXC 14MP photos from a depth of ten meters. The device will be available for purchase in August with an MSRP of $ 349.99.
Designed for indoor or outdoor adventure, the VPC-CA102YL fits in the palm of the hand of the user and is small enough to fit in a pocket, purse or backpack – ready to be used at all times and in all weather conditions. SANYO Cameras Dual Use a handy video format, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format, which makes sharing videos online, on blogs or other sites on the simple media. The media created can easily be edited and exported to portable media devices. Photos and video can be viewed in Full HD resolution on HDTV.

The camera uses a dual function zoom range in the operating room to zoom while shooting video with available 12x zoom from wide angle to telephoto for distant objects (equivalent to 40mm to 480mm zoom in a 35mm camera to capture). Additionally, the high-speed sequential shooting mode to capture 22 images at 7 frames per second.
The VPC-CA102YL is stylish and compact with a yellow vertical shape of the body with gray accents. The new Sanyo high-speed image processing engine contributes to the small size.
Files can be stored on SD or SDHC high capacity SDXC (up to 2 TB) of memory cards. There are also various video and photo modes for flexibility in the use of memory. The battery will last approximately 60 minutes of continuous recording time in HD mode.
