Samsung Eco Green F4EG 2TB Hard Drive
Samsung has announced a new addition to the EcoGreen line of storage products. The new drive is called F4EG EcoGreen packs and 2TB of storage in an internal hard drive for green computers.
Since hard drives Samsung others, includes F4EG EcoGreen Silent Noise Guard research and technology quiet. Hits from the hard drive of 2TB capacity using only three platters inside and promises of return of 19% better and standby energy consumption 23% less in standby mode than the previous hard disk with four F3EG trays. Each of the three trays of 667GB of storage has F4EG.
Samsung has eliminated compounds and brominated flame retardants from propulsion systems. The hard drive Samsung also Silent Noise Guard research technology. The F4EG uses 3 Gbps SATA, NCQ, and has a buffer of 32 MB in size 3.5 inches.
Soon, in early September, the EcoGreen F4EG is available in 1.5TB and 2TB with a starting price of $ 119.99. [Via] Business Wire
