Opticon H-21 PIT PDA available in Japan

Iij, (Internet Initiative Japan) booth at Wireless Japan 2010, was definitely not the largest that we visited, it was really worth the time we there. Among the different products were introduced, with 3 catches our attention:

The Opticon H-21. Definitely not Japanese, as Opticon is a European company, this new Smartphone (Windows 6.5) + Handy Terminal combo bring the best of both world now to the Japanese users. If you work in the business of collecting the data necessary to keep track of many different goods / products, you know that the only way for you to go for a portable terminal with barcode reader, and the H-21 is only that with everything you would expect from an average Smartphone with Windows 6.5.

The H-21 comes with 256 MB ROM and 256 MB of RAM, a 3.8 inch VGA display, a QWERTY keyboard, a barcode reader, IrDA, Bluetooth, WiFi BG, HSDPA / HSUPA, GPS, a CMOS camera, 3.2Mpix well done packed resistant.
In principle, the H-21 is almost everything to give its users the most versatile tool ever.

The PIT. Runs on Windows CE 6.0 R3, the Pit is your average PDA (512MB ROM, 128MB RAM, 4.3 “touch screen, WiFi, Bluetooth … and is designed to” empty shell “that you later at work on building your own application to comply with your obligations. Of course, if you do not have programming skills, iij is sure a solution for you to find, but still, pit is a device designed to match the requirement that you vorm bar code reader, POS, IC card reader and so on.
