LG Optimus Android Tablet Better Than iPad Tablet
LG has some safe words to say about its own Android tablet to be released in the fourth quarter of this year. The tablet effort to be branded as a part of Optimus line will take a different path than the rival iPad tablet.

Rather focus on consumption, entertainment and multimedia, LG is taking a different approach and will leverage its tablet approach to productivity. According to LG’s vice president of marketing for mobile devices Chang Ma says, “Our tablet will be better than IPAD. According to Ma, It seems to be surprisingly productive.
How LG is planning to use Android to create a consumer-oriented tablet geared towards productivity is unknown. There are a number of document viewers and editors on Android, with a growing App Store, and it remains to see how LG will approach this market. [via ubergizmo]
