Garmin Asus, a co-branded alliance between Garmin ® Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRMN) and Asustek Computer Inc. (TAIEX: 2357), Garmin Asus M10, a full-touch all-in-one smartphone powered by the latest version Windows Mobile from Microsoft Corp. The M10 is linked to business professionals and personal contacts, e-mail, calendar and IM, in addition to preloaded with Garmin’s mobile navigation. The M10 is expected to be available through retail and carrier channels in Asia and Europe in the first half of 2010.
Garmin Asus M10 is running the latest version of Windows Mobile. Windows Mobile 6.5.3 features upgrades that improve user experience and provides access to Windows Marketplace for Mobile, which many Windows Mobile applications for download.

The M10 has an elegant design with a 3.5-inch WVGA screen and a finger-friendly user interface. Billboard feature shows the most important information so that users can control each at a glance. An intuitive 3D Task Manager allows users to easily switch between running applications. Hold the phone react and smooth navigation are 512 RAM and 512 ROM, but 4 GB Flash memory provides ample storage for multimedia and data.
The M10 is equipped with a 1500 mAh battery for hours of continuous use, and a full QWERTY soft keyboard for fast text input. HSDPA connectivity and Wi-Fi (802.11 b / g) to ensure that messages are sent and received quickly. Moreover, the M10 can be synchronized with Microsoft ® Exchange, so contacts, calendars and e-mails are always available and secure.
Recognizing that the location is relevant to every aspect of every day, the Garmin Asus M10 is designed with location information in its core and delivers the most advanced site experience on a Windows phone. Navigation functions are linked to commonly used applications like calendar, contacts, e-mail, browser and messaging, creating an exceptionally intuitive and easy navigation experience.
The M10 has advanced navigation functions equivalent to a high-end Garmin nüvi like lane assist with junction view that guides drivers to the proper lane for an approaching turn or exit signs and realistically. It also has the highway mode that tells drivers the street next three upcoming exits, so they can plan ahead *. The M10 is ready for navigation systems in out-of-the-box and contains everything a customer needs to use the device in a vehicle, including a powered cradle and windshield mount.
Garmin Asus M10 has a range of social skills, including access to Facebook and Picasa Web Albums. It also places real-time information on member services * such as weather, speed cameras, traffic, flight status and fuel prices to the users fingertips. Moreover, the M10 features a high performance five mega-pixel camera that automatically geotagged photos so users always know where they are taken and you can easily share them with friends via Facebook and Picasa.
