DXG Sportster Waterproof HD Video Camera
DXG has created a new rugged HD camcorder that is capable of capturing full HD video at 1080p under the water. The camera is part of the Sportster range and is capable of going down to 10 feet below the surface of the water.
A feature on the camera, called the Dive Button, allows you to press it whilst under water and the lenses adjust to capture the right sort of image for underwater camera usage by adjusting the colour and other settings appropriate for the different lighting you have below the surface.
The camcorder is capable of capturing still images at a 12 megapixel resolution. Connectivity wise it has a USB/AV connector along with a HDMI output. Storage wise the internal memory lacks a little (well, a lot) at just 128MB but the storage can be expanded with an SD/SDHC card up to 32GB in capacity.
