Dell Studio XPS 9100 Series Updated To Latest Core i7 Processors

Dell has updated its XPS series of desktop Studio 9100 include the latest Intel Core i7, a welcome burst of speed with a maximum of hexacore chips on offer. From $ 949.99 with 2.66 GHz Core i7-920 in connection with 3GB of DDR3 memory and 512MB NVIDIA GeForce graphics G310, Dell will request an additional $ 470 for the Core i7-960 or a $ 1,000 expense for the six Core i7-980X.
Other options include up to 24GB DDR3 memory – but it costs $ 1,100 – and a choice of ATI Radeon HD 5970-2 GB for $ 580. Storage starts at 750 GB is standard, but can be extended up to 2 TB with a choice of individual drives and RAID 0 / 1 network settings.
