Acer last crack at combining Google Android mobile software and Microsoft Windows XP OS in the same netbook unveiled at a computer trade show in Taipei on Thursday.
The Acer Aspire One netbook AOD255 uses Android operating system as quickly and then start Windows as the primary operating system. Acer software on the device, called Acer Configuration Manager for Android, which controls the OS will boot.
The sport netbook with a 10.1 inch screen and an Intel Atom N450 processor inside. It carries 1GB DDR2 (double data rate, second generation) DRAM and a 160GB hard disk drive (HDD) for storage. The camera comes with a 3-cell lithium-ion battery, but also sells Acer 6-cell battery for NT $ 3,000 (U.S. $ 95), one vendor said.
The device is sold at the exhibition of hardware for NT $ 9,500, nearly U.S. $ 300, but it is a special price for participants to show some computer. The list price of the information presented on the show is NT $ 11,900, approximately $ 375 U.S
